Are jeep wranglers warm in the winter?

Writer John Campbell

But the thing about jeep wranglers is that they are actually really good in the winter, much better than other cars. They have a lot of space under them so they can easily drive through deep snow and they have really nice heating systems to keep you warm all winter long.

Basically, the short answer is YES

I got a jeep wrangler for my 17th birthday and it has been the best 4×4 vehicle I have ever had. In the winter I take it out to this hill in the middle of nowhere and just go off-roading through snow banks for hours on end while having a beer with one hand and steering with another. It’s really good. And if any other car tries to follow you or pass you they will get stuck immediately because their tires can’t handle these conditions–only jeeps can!

But still, there are a few things you should consider here. If you are only living in the city where there is no snow or if your jeep tends to get stuck (like mine does sometimes) then you should probably consider using a different car for this weather. But if your jeep gets around well in the winter, it’s definitely one of the best cars out there–especially for teenagers like me! 🙂

How to keep Jeep wranglers warm during the winter?

Jeep wranglers get very cold during the winter months. Driving in the snow and ice is difficult, but if your jeep is not equipped to handle these conditions it becomes near impossible. So what can you do to keep your jeep warm in the winter?

The obvious solution would be to buy a jeep with an all-wheel drive. This would help you get through tough weather conditions without the issue of your jeep getting stuck in the snow banks. However, some jeeps are better than others so it’s best to do a little bit of research on this subject before you decide which one will work best for you.

But there are other things that your Jeep can be outfitted with to keep you warm during these cold winter months. A new stereo system or heated seats would definitely come in handy when dealing with harsh weather conditions.

If these modifications seem too expensive for your wallet, yet another great solution would be using seat covers on the inside of your vehicle. These seat covers will serve as insulators and allow heat from your body heat to stay inside of jeep. If you’re going to be off-roading in the snow, then a car bra would serve as another great insulator between your jeep and the snow that falls down on it.
