Despite the fact that many people enjoy large amounts of coffee beans and baked beans at barbecues, pets should not be allowed to partake. Avoid these beans if you want to keep your dog or cat safe: Vomiting and diarrhea are possible side effects of eating fava beans (also known as broad beans).
