A lot of hamsters enjoy cheese, but it has a lot of fat and sodium, which is not good for them. It’s fine to give your hamster a small amount of cheese if he or she likes it and seems to tolerate it. Only a pea-sized amount of cheese should be given to hamsters on a weekly or biweekly basis.
