Does oat milk work in mac and cheese?

Can you substitute oat milk for milk in mac and cheese?

If you’re making mac and cheese without milk, we suggest using unsweetened oat milk as a substitute. Flavors change the taste of mac and cheese too much. This substitute can be used in a 1:1 ratio.
