Can I workout in lularoe leggings?

Writer Emily Cortez

A lot of people ask if they can work out in their leggings or not, so I am going to cover the basic rules.

Silky Terrier Dog Breed Playing Aro... Silky Terrier Dog Breed Playing Around

Rule one – never wear lularoe while doing high-impact exercises. If you are running, boxing, aerobics, doing jumps, kicks, or a lot of jumping you should wear a different type of pants.

The fabric is going to be extremely thin and your butt will show through no matter what if high impact exercises are involved with lularoe leggings on. Also, the crotch seam will move all around as you work out which will not feel comfortable at all and will not look good.

A basic rule of thumb… Just don’t. Lularoe leggings aren’t made for exercise, they are very thin and not meant for anything more than light walking or yoga.

Rule two – If you need to do some stretching such as a downward dog (in my pic) you can wear lularoe if the fabric is thick enough. The thicker fabrics like leggings and jeggings should be okay but it depends on how high up your bend goes because if you do a full stretch showing your butt then those will also show through and that means no workout in lularoe for you! You can try them on beforehand and see what happens when stretched, but I find that most of the time when you bend forward it will show through.

Rule three – If you are doing light walking, yoga, or pilates then leggings should be fine in that case. You can do low-impact workouts in lularoe and they should be just fine for that. Just watch out for high stretching because it’s really how thin the fabric is in the crotch area if it’s thick enough it should work but there is always a chance for panty lines to show through no matter what kind of pants you wear so make sure to check before hand! There are lots of plus-size lularoe options too if you are worried about not having an option! The thicker fabrics like jeggings won’t even show shape at all when bent over either.
