Some colonic therapists may recommend natural healing therapies, but regardless of whether you’ve had a colonic previously or not, it’s critical to give yourself three full days to reintroduce healthier eating and drinking habits. If you give your body time to adjust to dietary changes, it may be more responsive to colonic hydrotherapy. A little homework in the days leading up to your first treatment can make all the difference! Let’s make the most of your colonics investment and get ready for a thorough cleanse.

Before starting colonic hydrotherapy, what should I eat?

Try to start each morning with a glass of fresh veggie juice in the week leading up to your therapy. This is the most effective technique to help your immune system. In addition to juices, you should drink extra water because hydration is crucial for draining toxins and boosting colon clearance. Water consumption of two liters each day is a reasonable target!

However, there are several beverages that you should avoid. Please avoid consuming alcoholic beverages, carbonated beverages, seltzer, or even sparkling water. You should also avoid coffee because it dehydrates you, negating the benefits of all the water you’re consuming.

What should you eat before getting colonic hydrotherapy?

Raw fruits and vegetables, lightly steamed low-starch vegetables, and organic raw nuts and seeds are all good choices. These nutrients are found in a variety of foods, including fatty acids such as omega 3, 6, and 9, coconut oils, avocados, and cold-pressed plant oils. Other viable options are raw, unpasteurized goat or sheep’s milk, whole grains, organic chicken, and fresh seafood. Red meat, Cheese, Milk, White flour, Refine sugar, and fast food. These are just a handful of the items to avoid prior to and during colonic therapy.
