There’s a compound in garlic called allicin, which is responsible for its strong smell and taste. But this also means that eating raw garlic can cause indigestion. The health benefits of garlic are greatly reduced if you eat large amounts of it without cooking. This doesn’t mean you should stop eating garlic entirely though. Instead, you should try to find the most beneficial way of consuming it. So don’t be discouraged to eat Garlic while on Keto.
