Canned spaghettios offer very little nutritional value for the kilojoules it contains. However, if used frequently instead of more nutritionally nutritious foods by those with a low intake of nutrients or those who have the weight limit for healthy weight may contribute to health issues. You can certainly eat spaghettios straight from the can, provided it’s safe and there is no harm doing this. The majority of canned food items are cooked completely and can be eaten straight right from the can.

They might not be as tasty or have congealed fats when not heated however they can be eaten. Food that has been canned is safe to consume directly from the can. A crucial aspect of canning involves heating the food to the point where the spores of bacteria are eliminated within the can. This process can also result in a vacuum within the can that seals it, making it possible for the food to be kept at room temperature, and then consumed when you open the can. The simple answer is that canned foods can be eaten without being cooked.

If you’d like to eat canned spaghettios and not cook it, then go ahead. The process that all canned foods undergo is heating the cans up to the point where all bacteria die and there’s virtually no risk in eating spaghettios that you can cook without it. If you consume food from a can sealed with a seal that’s already broken, you’re off. If this happens you could expose your body to harmful bacteria such as botulism, or any of a myriad of food-borne illnesses and when it’s expired, do not eat it since it could cause many issues within your body. That’s why if you’re eating food that is not certified organic, make sure you check the expiry date first. This is to protect yourself from health risks.
