Can you use a nail tool on melamine?
It is not recommended to use nail tools or nails of any kind on melamine. Only on the back of a cabinet can nails be used without consequences. Glue with plywood or hardboard is the only method for enclosing the back. It is still preferable to use small screws in this case, as opposed to larger ones.
Does contact cement work on melamine?
Your method results in an unbalanced panel, and melamine is a poor substrate to begin with. Using contact cement and veneer together is not a good idea.
Does contact cement adhere to melamine?
