Just make sure it’s covered with plastic or something. If you go to garage sales, sometimes people sell glass patio tables that are used for decoration not eating breakfast. You could buy glass patio chairs that are for decoration because why pay extra money when you could buy non-glass patio chairs?

You could buy plastic chairs for your glass patio table so you could change it later when you get tired of them.

Also, if the wind can blow any slimy things on the floor in winter, they are also slimy in summer. So this is safer to have indoors in case something lands on them accidentally that wasn’t meant to be there.

Also, I want to say that I don’t condone using tables outside during cold weather or just using tables for decoration. It’s bad for both the table and the environment in different ways.

If you have a choice between having an indoor one versus an outdoor one just because extra surface area makes better desks, why not get smaller ones? Because fewer big ones make better decorations than vice versa except for maybe antique dealers.

Also, you can leave outdoor tables out in winter if they are covered with plastic or something. Tables outside during cold weather is bad for both environment and tables even more so by using one decoration wise out of season is not good for the environment either because the price of buying them new indoors vs getting them used outdoors doesn’t justify it except that few people sell them at garage sales.

This will help keep your patio clean especially when you have pets inside who bring dirt from their paws to inside on their fur unless they are an indoor pet. Sometimes people don’t want to deal with this kind of thing but most people would rather deal with it than vacuum all the time so either buy a patio table with no glass or use plastic chairs instead of glass ones.
