Can You Plant Trees On Sewer Easement?

I have a water or sewer easement on my property; can I plant trees there? It’s not true. Easements protect the utility on your property and give us access to the utility for preventative and emergency maintenance and repair purposes. It is possible that tree roots will obstruct the utility, resulting in damage and, eventually, a break in the line.

How close to property line can I plant a tree?

It’s common property if a tree sits on a property line, and you both own it. As a result, you are not allowed to plant a tree on your neighbor’s property without their permission. 3 to 4 feet away from all property lines will allow for future expansion.
