Pavement or ConcreteConcrete can’t be broken down by Solo Stove Fire Pits if they’re used for the recommended amount of time. For painted, stained, or stamped concrete, a Stand is a MUST to prevent damage to the concrete finish from the fire pit burn.

Can you use a solo stove on a patio?

Wood or Trex decking can be used with Solo Stoves as long as a stand or heat-resistant fire pit barrier is used underneath. Despite the fact that Solo Stoves produce less heat than other types of fire pits, prolonged use can still cause damage to your deck.

Do you need a mat under solo stove?

A single stove can be used on a composite deck as long as it is supported by a stand, allowing for an air gap between the decking and the fire to be created between the two components. The composite decking will be better protected from heat from the stove’s bottom if you use a fireproof mat with it.
