Do Golf Balls Kill Snakes?

Because snakes can’t digest golf balls, the theory goes, snakes will eat the golf balls. The snake is too large to escape the coop with the golf ball still inside of it. In addition, the snake is out of luck because it is unable to digest the golf ball. Unfortunately, most of the time, trying to catch snakes in golf balls doesn’t work.

As long as you don’t eat them, snakes can easily squeeze through the holes in chicken wire. Bird netting should be attached to any fencing on your run that has openings larger than 1/2 inch.
