Snakes do enjoy baths, as well, it turns out.Many snakes enjoy soaking in a shallow tub of warm water, despite the fact that most people don’t believe that snakes need to be bathed. Snakes should have the option to submerge themselves in an open pan of water if their enclosures are large enough.

Do snakes like to soak in water?

Reasons for Snakes to Bathe in WaterIt’s not always easy to figure out why snakes prefer to soak by themselves. If the relative humidity drops too low for tropical animals, they may seek relief by soaking in the water dish.

How often should I bathe my snake?

The short answer is no, you shouldn’t clean your snake with water. Using a warm, damp towel to clean your snake’s “dirty” coat will do the trick. However, as with any rule, there are always exceptions. I’ll only put a snake in the tub if it has “sausage butt,” though.
