Does God Love Satan? - Kylon Powell

Writer Rachel Davis

As believers, we are taught to love our enemies and to pray for them. Christianity is all about love. We are supposed to love each other and to pray for those that wrongfully use us. It’s fair to say that most people do try to love their enemies or at least pray for them so that they will change.

However, how do we love our biggest enemy? I’m talking about Satan, The devil, or the adversary. He’s supposed to be our biggest enemy. However, I don’t think anyone loves Satan at all or ever tries to show him love.

This makes me wonder if God loves Satan? Well, considering that God is love, God has to love Satan. God created him as an Angel, but he decided to rebel against God and do his own thing. Even though he’s going against God, it does not mean that God doesn’t love him. It’s the same way when we go against God and become his enemies, it does not mean that God stops loving us either.

There are people right now in this world who are against God and don’t believe in him Or love him at all. These individuals could even be hurting other believers as well as negatively affecting the church. Yet, these people are still loved by God.

So, I would have to say that despite the fact that we have enemies, that God does love Satan. In fact, that is the awesome thing about God. God loves all of us despite the mistakes that we make, whether they be intentional or not. No matter what we do, God is still going to love us.

Conclusions

Yes, God does love Satan. However, it’s not for us to figure out everything about the enemy because that is something for God to figure out, and he will. All we can do is strive to love other people around us even those that are our enemies.
