Certain people react differently to laughing gas. Some people will do and say weird things. Also, it is also possible that you might feel numbness, nauseous, or even tired. These feelings and experiences are all common in people who were given laughing gas at the dentist. Don’t freak out if this happens to you.

When it comes to putting someone to sleep, general anesthesia is what actually does that. However, laughing gas or nitrous oxide is not supposed to put you to sleep in the way the anesthesia does.

Keeps You Calm and Relaxed

Laughing gas is actually supposed to make you feel calm and relax. When people are relaxed, they can easily fall asleep. Even though nitrous oxide isn’t supposed to make you sleepy, people do sometimes end up falling asleep.

When you are given laughing gas, it doesn’t take long for it to kick in. In fact, it’ll start working in a few seconds after it starts. However, once it stops, it’ll take a few minutes to wear off.

Conclusions
