Will Solo Stove rust in the rain?

Rust will begin to appear on your fire pit as it deteriorates over time. If you don’t fix a Solo Stove that’s been exposed to rain on a regular basis, it won’t last long.

Can I leave my Solo Stove outside?

An appropriate weather cover can be used to store Solo Stove fire pits outside. Look into the Solo Stove Shelter, an outdoor weather cover designed specifically for the Solo Stove fire pit. Alternatively, our products should be kept in a cool, dry area.

What happens if your Solo Stove gets wet?

As long as you use a towel to dry the outside of your fire pit, you’re good to go. The grate and ashpan in your fire pit can be damaged by water, however. To keep your fire pit protected from the elements, we suggest using Shelter.

How durable is a Solo Stove?

Can Solo Stove be used under covered patio?

Wood and Trex decking can be safely used as long as Solo Stoves are placed on a Solo Stove stand or a fire pit barrier. Long-term use of a Solo Stove can still damage your deck, even though it produces less heat.

Can I use a Solo Stove on grass?

Solo Stove Fire Pits may burn your grass depending on the hardness of the wood and the length of the burn. When burning on grass, the fire pit should always be supported by a stand. If you’re taking your fire pit to the beach, you can usually get away with not using the stand.

How far should a Solo Stove be from a house?

Six feet is the recommended distance from your home for a solo stove. This is enough space to keep the flames from igniting something in the house and causing a blaze.

Can you burn pine in a Solo Stove?

Dry twigs, pinecones, and leaves will all burn, but for best results, use only hard, dry wood. Birch, maple, oak, and hickory are examples of hardwoods that burn longer than softwoods. Do Solo Stoves fly well? Yes!

Can you burn cardboard in a Solo Stove?

Can you use duraflame in Solo Stove?

Is the Solo stove capable of using duraflame? According to the Duraflame website, “…they only burn with flames and do not generate adequate coals for cooking. ” Duraflame logs would not be suitable for use in a Solo stove. In order to perform the gasifier function, Solo stoves are all double-walled.
