Can ants live for 30 years?
They live for a few months, working in their colony and serving their queen until they die, at which point they become extinct. In addition, an ant colony’s queen can live for a long time, with some queens living for up to 30 years!
Can ants live 20 years?
Queens. In most colonies, the queen ant lays hundreds of eggs each year, but some ant species have multiple queens. These females rarely leave the nest because they are well taken care of and protected by the workers. Consequently, depending on their species, queen ants can live anywhere from two to twenty years.

Although ants are small, they are capable of consuming a significant amount of water based on their weight. In an average environment, an ant consumes approximately 7 microliters of water per day. This is the same as one-fifth of a pint.
Do ants have brains?
The answer is yes, ants do have brains, even if they are tiny. The brain of an ant contains 250,000 neurons. In comparison, the brains of humans contain over 100 billion brain cells. Scientists believe that the ant has the largest brain among insects, despite its small size in comparison to human brains.
Are ants smart?
Despite the fact that individual ants may not be very intelligent, when put together, an ant colony is extremely intelligent. A level of civilization is defined by the ability to master these skills.
