Taping over the sensor is the easiest way to bypass it. All you need is some electrical tape. The resistor method is a little more difficult, but it’s still not too complicated. You’ll need to cut two pieces of resistor wire, each about 8 inches long. Then, you’ll need to twist the ends of each wire together and solder them. Once you’ve done that, you can clip the resistor onto the seat belt clip. The magnet method is the most difficult. You’ll need to drill a small hole in the seat belt clip so you can pass the wire through. Then, you’ll need to attach one end of each of two magnets and tape them on. The other ends will be attached by a wire and glued into place with epoxy or super glue. This method is the most secure, but it’s also the most difficult.

Once you’ve got your method of bypassing the occupancy sensor, just attach it to your seat belt clip. It should work without fail.

Why do you need to bypass the occupancy sensor?

There are a few reasons why you might need to bypass the BMW passenger seat occupancy sensor. One reason is if you don’t have a passenger and the seat is always getting stuck in the upright position. Another reason is if you’re using a child safety seat and the child safety seat won’t fit properly unless the occupancy sensor is bypassed.

What is the use of the occupancy sensor?

The BMW occupancy sensor is a safety device designed to keep passengers safe. It prevents the passenger from being ejected from the vehicle if there’s a crash. Bypassing it can be dangerous, so you should only do this if your car needs it because of a child safety seat or another reason.
