Depending on your original battery’s size and capacity, your replacement battery will likely be different. Any new batteries for the QuietComfort 35 I and II are, as far as we know, compatible.

Step 1:

1. Using your free hand, grab the left earcup cushion and gently pull it toward you until it releases the plastic clip that is keeping it in place

2. Replace all of the cushion clips.

3. Remove the left earcup cushion and the earbuds from the device.

4. To remove the earcup, carefully peel off the protective cloth from the inside.

Step 2:

1. Reverse the polarity of the headphones.

2. In the gap between the plastic cover and the earcup frame, place an opening pick and secure it with a rubber band.

3. Remove the left earcup’s plastic cover by using the opening tool to pry it open.

4. Remove the plastic sheet.

Step 3:

1. Make a piece of cardboard to fit inside the earcup, except for the battery cover.

2. Insert the cover into the left earcup.

3. To remove the battery cover, use a heat gun to soften the glue on the underside of the cover.

Step 4:

1. Put an opening tool’s edge under the battery cover’s bottom corner. This necessitates exerting some physical effort.

Step 5:

1. To open the battery cover, run the opening tool along the battery cover’s edge to loosen the glue and make a small hole.

Step 6:

1. Use the flat end of a spudger to push the battery cover away from the battery.

2. Separate the earcup from the plastic cover with a spudger.

3. Disconnect the three battery lines from the circuit board using a soldering iron.

Step 7:

1. Place the flat end of a spudger in the battery well, and push it down firmly.

2. Carefully take the battery from the compartment.
