How to change time on Samsung galaxy s9

  1. To open the app screen from the Home screen, swipe left or right from the middle of the screen.
    Note
     These guidelines are only applicable only to standard mode as well as the standard layout of the Home screen.
  2. Navigate to: Setting 
    Settings icon
     Settings General Management Settings > General management Calendar and Date.
  3. Do any of these:
    1. If you are using network-provided values make sure that the Auto date and times are turned on.
    2. If you want to adjust manually, make sure that the Automatic date and time are off. then:
      1. Tap Select Time Zone and then select the correct time zone.
      2. Tap Set date.
      3. Enter the date and hit done.
      4. Tap Set time.
      5. Select the date and time, then hit done.
  4. If you wish If you want to, tap using the 24-hour format to toggle on or off.

Automatic update time (NITZ)

The default setting of the device will update automatically your time zone. To set the device’s clock to update itself automatically depending on the time zone it’s in Follow these steps:

  1. When you are on the Home screen, tap upwards onto the empty area for the Applications tray.
  2. Select Settings > General management > Date and time.
  3. Click the Automatic Date and Time slider to enable.

Set time & date

  1. When you are on the Home screen, tap upwards onto the empty area for the Applications tray.
  2. Select Settings > General management > Date and time.
  3. Touch the Automatic Date and Time slider to switch on
  4. Press the Set Date button to select the date. Once you’re done then tap done.
  5. Press Timer to establish the time. Once you’re done you can tap done.
  6. If you wish If you want to switch time zones, tap Select Time Zone to switch the time zone.
  7. If you wish you would like to turn on the option to turn on the 24-hour time formatting slider.
