How To Clear Queue On Spotify iPhone
Rachel Davis
The Spotify queue allows you to quickly organize a lot of podcasts or songs that you wish to listen to. You can quickly schedule your music and let Spotify run in the background.
Silky Terrier Dog Breed Playing Aro... Silky Terrier Dog Breed Playing AroundBy right-clicking on or tapping on the three dots beside the title of the song, you can add it to your queue. Then click the “Add to Queue!” button that appears. There is no limit on how many songs you can add.
However, if you need to clear your Spotify playlist, you can do so from any device, including your mobile phone.
Here’s how.
Clearing your Spotify queue on a computer
1. Start your Spotify program on the device you are using Mac or Windows. Click the button to queue. It appears as a small arrow positioned above three horizontal lines. It is located next to the volume slider.
2. Click the “CLEAR” button at the top of the page above your songs.
You can also delete songs one by one by right-clicking on the queue and choosing “Remove From Queue”. That’s all. If you don’t see the CLEAR button then there are no songs in your queue.
Clearing your Spotify queue on mobile
The mobile app for iPhone or Android doesn’t allow you to clear all your queues at once. You have to go song by song.
1. Play a song or a podcast. Check that the album artwork and playback controls stay visible within your display. Click the queue icon in the lower-right corner. It looks like a small, horizontal arrow above three horizontal lines.
2. Tap the circle next to each song that you wish to remove from your queue. Then, hit the “REMOVE” button at the bottom left.
This applies to music that you have cleared in Spotify on mobile devices. Clear your Spotify queue using your Android and iPhone to play music on your PC, Mac, or mobile device. The music will then stop playing on all other devices. To resume playback, you’ll need either to add songs or podcasts back to your queue or to start playing a new song.
