In the User Guide, the company clearly mentions how you can use the mouse and keyboard instead of the remote. The best thing is that both wired and wireless mice can be used. 

Steps to connect without Remote 

• First, connect your mouse with TV
• Click on the only physical button available on the TV. It will display three options Select input option 
• Then click on Live TV 
• On the right side, you can see the Menu option. Click on it and then click on the recommended icon.
• Now a message will appear “You are now connected” select the configure network option. 
• Another window will appear to set up the network connection. 
• Put the correct Wi-Fi password 
• Save the settings
