How do you find a missing snake in your house?
Doing a thorough room-by-room sweep is the most common method for finding missing snakes. To find them, go back to the places where you last saw them. Snakes only venture a short distance once they’ve found a good hiding spot. After that, go through each room one at a time in your search.

All snakes are escape artists. It’s not as if they’re particularly bright (like a parrot that knows how to unlatch its cage). Even a small gap in a snake cage is enough for it to break out of its confines. And they will explore their habitats over and over again, looking for such an opening.
Can snakes climb walls?
Snakes can, in fact, scale walls, as some species have demonstrated. It’s not just any old wall. The snake must be able to grab hold of and propel itself off of a stationary object. Not even a rough surface will do – snakes can’t “stick” to walls the way insects, rats, and lizards often do.
