Spiders always find a place to live, especially in forests, gardens, and grounds. They can inhabit dirty, damp, and even dry environments. They can hide behind a piece of cloth, a wrapper, scrap, food, anything they like. They mostly like dark and dirty areas where they make their webs. You

What are spiders attracted to?

Spiders mostly prefer different areas and environments to live in. A few spiders like to inhabit in moisture so they are mostly found near ponds, lakes, and rivers, etc. Some spiders prefer dry areas like grounds. They are also attracted to dirty places, like places with rotten food, or sweet food spilled, or maybe any dead insect, etc.

You can keep spiders away from your camping tents by camping away from damp areas like don’t camp near lakes, rivers, and trees, try to use a zippered tent and it must have no holes or not space for a spider to enter, Try to avoid the use perfumes and any sort of scented sprays during the night, and keep your tent tidy. Don’t leave food leftovers inside the tent as it will cause insects other than spiders to enter too, use insect repellents sprays.

Natural Insect Repellents to keep spiders away from your tent

You can also use natural insect repellents such as peppermint, vinegar, mint, cedar wood, lemon, lavender, etc.

You can sprinkle some cinnamon around and inside of your tent or you may use a cinnamon spray all over the tent. It will keep spiders away from your tent.

Essential oils like eucalyptus oil, tea tree oil, and even peppermint oils keep the spiders away. Spray strong essential oils around the camping area. Vinegar may also be used to keep spiders away.
