Don’t Eat In Your Room

You’d be surprised at the number of people who eat in their rooms, yet, this is one of the reasons why they keep finding spiders in their bedrooms. Spiders love to eat food, so wherever they can find it, you can expect them to be there. When you eat in your room, you will definitely end up leaving behind food debris, crumbs, sauce, oils, and so on that can attract spiders. So, it’s better if you avoid eating in your room altogether so that you can keep it clean and keep spiders and other insects away

Cleanup Your Room

One way for you to reduce the number of spiders that are in your room is to actually clean your room. The problem is that there might be cobwebs in your room that are attracting more spiders, so you will need to get rid of them to help combat this problem. In fact, if you see cobwebs in your room, then it is definitely a strong sign that there are existing spiders in your room. This is where they like to hide out. So, you will need to completely get rid of these cobwebs.

Type Of Bed

Interestingly, the type of bed that you have does play a role in whether or not spiders are able to crawl on your bed. It is said that beds with long skinny legs will help keep spiders away because they will have a hard time climbing onto your bed. It might not be easy for you to just replace your bed altogether, however, this is definitely an option.

Your Sheets

Your bedsheets might be a reason why spiders are on your bed. Don’t just leave your sheets dangling all over the place because that would make it easier for spiders to climb onto your bed. So, what you should do is tuck in your bedsheets when you’re not using them.

Boric Acid

You can also sprinkle some boric acid around the legs of your bed. In doing this, it will help repel spiders and other insects. Also, boric acid can actually kill spiders as well. However, you have to be careful if you decide to do this because boric acid is harmful to pets, kids, and humans as well.

Final Thoughts

All of these tips and ideas should be able to help you effectively deal with spiders that are in your bedroom. Sometimes you just have to clean up your room as well as do certain things to keep spiders away. You don’t want to make it easier for them to access your room or to even climb onto your bed.
