The only way to catch snakes is to use traps, but it is unlikely that you will be able to bait a snake trap successfully because snakes will only eat live prey, and keeping a live mouse or insect in a trap can be quite a problem

How do you attract a snake to a trap?

As long as it isn’t an endangered species (like a frog or lizard), you should be fine. When the snakes you’re trying to catch see that your trap has something inside, they’ll be more likely to try to get in.

How do you catch a snake easily?

Badminton or tennis racquets, or a long, thin broom handle, can be used to catch snakes in a mosquito net. You’ll want to get to the scene as quickly as possible when you see the snake. Place your net in front of the snake’s head and try to coax the snake into the net by putting it there.

Why are snakes attracted to glue traps?

Natural pest control can be provided by wildlife. Northern Ring-necked Snakes and other harmless snakes are frequently the victims of glue boards. When they’re out hunting for bugs to eat, they’re drawn to the sticky boards because of the variety of insects they consume.
