How To Mark All Emails As Read iPhone

Your average email inbox is cluttered. Many of us find our inboxes so stuffed with junk that it is difficult to even open or unsubscribe from all the unnecessary messages. Instead of wasting time scouring through unopened emails, mark all of them as read and wipe the slate clean. These are the four steps you need to take to mark all of your iPhone emails as read:

Open the Mail application to your iPhone. Choose a mailbox to open or “All Mailboxes. If you want to select all of the emails in a particular folder, click on the Edit link and then on “Mark All. “Mark All.” The “Edit” button can be found in the application’s upper right corner. Click”Edit,” then select the “Mark as Read” option within the menu that appears in order to label all messages read. Instead of selecting “Mark as Read,” choose “Mark as Unread” to mark emails as unread. You can also mark emails using”Flag” or the “Flag” option.

The steps above apply for all iPhone models, so long that you’re using iOS 7, like iPhone 5s, iPhone 4s, iPhone 5, and so on. iPad users can use the method above to ensure that all email messages are marked as read on the iPad and mark multiple emails as read, etc.

The Mail application for iOS lets you search for messages on your iPhone. You can use this feature to quickly search bulk messages and mark them as read or not read. You can, for instance, mark emails and search for specific senders or mark bulk emails with particular keywords.

Use a USB cable to connect your iPhone to your computer. To select files to be backed up to your computer, click “Backup & Restore.” To backup, your iPhone files to your Mac/PC, select the file location and then click “Backup.” This is the method to remove all your emails from Mail.
