Once the clip is removed, the panel can be lifted off. There are 2 more clips at the top of the panel that holds it in place. Gently pull the panel towards you and it will come free. Now you have clear access to the ignition switch. There is a small hole in the center of the switch. Use a small screwdriver to pry it out. Remove the switch from its housing and disconnect the electrical connection.

Now put the key in the ignition and turn it all the way to one side. While holding this position, re-insert the switch into its housing, making sure that it slides fully into place. (The 1 o’clock position for this switch is the OFF position.)Once the switch is in place, wiggle it while turning the key back and forth a few times. This will lock the switch into place and you should be good to go.

In addition, you can replace the brake pedal with a new one from ECS Tuning. You will need to purchase 8-pin and 20-pin connectors as well as a special tool to remove the old brake pedal.
