It came with Android 4.4 (kitkat) that has since been upgraded up to Android 7.0 (Nougat). It comes with a 16 GB internal storage capacity and a micro SD card slot that can support SD card storage up to 128GB.

What is safe mode?

A lot of issues with the Samsung Galaxy A5 can identify when you enable the Safe Mode option on your phone. It disables third-party applications. It will only allow pre-installed applications and will restore them when you switch off Safe Mode. It’s like resetting your phone. (Data is not lost. You can only disable). The aim of Safe Mode is to allow users to investigate issues with Android and identify the reason why it isn’t functioning in a proper manner. After you have resolved the issue, then you can restart Android for normal usage.

Safe Mode may be turned off by simply restarting your Samsung A5. It is possible to turn off your device’s Safe Mode the same way as you would in normal mode. Simply hold and press your power button for a few seconds until you see a power icon on the screen. Then press it.

A normal menu for power will be displayed when you are in Safe Mode. If it comes again on, it will be back in normal mode.

Scroll downwards at the very top to close Safe Mode. When you do this, a menu of choices will appear. Safe mode is enabled by default; tap here to exit Safe mode. Your Samsung A5 will return to its default condition once you click on the tab.
