How do you revive a dying snake plant?

Slow watering, indirect light, and a warm environment are all ways to help revive a snake plant that is close to death. Cuttings of leaves from healthy tissue can be used to propagate a dying snake plant.

How do you know when your snake plant is dying?

Symptoms. Roots begin to turn brown and mushy as a result of the rot, which is visible at this stage. Foliage begins to yellow, wilt or drop as the root rot takes hold, and eventually turns to mush. The plant may be in danger if symptoms appear in the leaves before the problem can be remedied.

How do I fix my snake plant drooping?

Repot your plant in a cactus or succulent-specific potting mix to remedy the situation. I’ve used this potting mix many times with great results for my snake plants. You can also use regular potting soil and add half a cup of perlite and a tablespoon of compost for fertilization.

Why is my snake plant skinny?

A lack of sunlight will cause snake plant leaves to become more elongated and narrow. The leaves bend and grow towards the light in low light conditions. They become more elongated and narrow as a result. This can be remedied by rotating the plant and providing additional light.
