How to turn on reverse camera bmw x5

Writer Robert King

There are a few ways to turn on the reverse camera on a BMW X5. The first way is to use the iDrive controller. To do this, press and hold down the button in the center of the controller for about two seconds until the options menu pops up. Scroll down to the “camera” tab and select “rear view.” The second way is to use the key fob. To do this, press the “camera” button on the key fob until the reverse camera comes on. The third way is to use the buttons on the dashboard. To do this, press the “back” button on the left side of the dashboard until the reverse camera comes on. Whichever way you choose to turn on the reverse camera, it will be displayed on the dashboard screen. The reverse camera can also be turned off in the same ways that it is turned on.

Did you know that the reverse camera on a BMW X5 can also be used as a parking assistant? To do this, press the “P” button on the iDrive controller. The reverse camera will then be displayed in a split screen with the front view. The reverse camera can also be turned off in this mode by pressing the “P” button again.

In addition to the reverse camera, the BMW X5 also has a parking distance control system. The parking distance control system uses sensors to measure the distance between your car and an obstacle. If there is an obstacle in front of your car, the parking distance control system will start to beep, and a red warning triangle will appear on the dashboard screen. To stop the beeping, press the “P” button on the iDrive controller. The parking distance control system will also beep if you get too close to an obstacle. To stop the beeping, press the “P” button again or move your car away from the obstacle.

The reverse camera and parking distance control system are two great features of the BMW X5. They make it easier to park your car and to avoid accidents. If you have any questions about how to use these features, please contact a BMW dealer. Thanks for reading!
