How To Use Raid Ant Baits?

Writer Rachel Davis

How do you use Raid ant baits?

Place baits one at a time, one at a time. Baits should be placed along baseboards, in corners, under sinks, and near plumbing fixtures. Use all the baits in the package at once for the best results. All bait should be replaced every three months to prevent ants from returning.

How long does it take for Raid ant bait to work?

The bait’s active ingredient disrupts the ants’ digestion, killing them within 24 to 48 hours of consumption. Slow kills allow worker ants to visit the bait several times and distribute it to the colony and queen.

Do Raid ant traps really work?

In some cases, ant traps are the best way to control and eventually eliminate an ant problem. However, they’re not always successful. It’s also possible that they won’t do anything at all in some cases. To put it another way, ant traps don’t work on all ants.

Where do you put ant baits?

Set up a bait trap in places where ants are likely to congregate. A good location for these is by the sink or any other openings in the wall, including around pipes and wall outlets.

How do I set up an ant trap?

The basic formula is the same: 1 cup of sugar, 1 cup of water, and 2 tablespoons of borax are all that is needed. Fill a small plastic container halfway with the mixture and puncture the top with a pair of scissors. The ants will crawl in to find the bait, and they will all die.
