What kind of paint do you use on a tile fireplace?
Ceramic Tiles Should Be PaintedAlthough I didn’t prime the black enamel paint I used on this fireplace because it didn’t require it, I would have if I had used regular latex paint instead. As you can see, I applied a smooth finish with foam rollers. It’s all there!
When painting tiles What about the grout?
Simply paint your tiles, let them dry, and then use a grout pen to fill in the gaps. To avoid having to worry about painting over the grout, simply use a pen when the paint is dry. You can use the same method to create intricate designs if you’d rather not use a blanket cover.
