In general, carp are more native to Asia and Europe as well. However, there are Asian Carp in the United States as well. Interestingly, Asian Carp do a lot more harm that good; in a sense, they are a menace to society. Asian Carp are always in competition with 0ther fish as it pertains to space and food. They are known to kill of other organisms that are important for bodies of water. They are known to dominate streams. Asian Carp will sometimes jump out of the water, which leads to people be injured and boats an equipment being damaged, which is interesting that they are able to do that.
The Eating Habits of Asian Carp
It is said that Asian Carp are opportunistic feeders. If there is an opportunity for them to eat, they will certainly go for it. Asian Carp eat algae, mussels, plants, grass, snails, corn, worms, aquatic vegetation, worms, insects, crustaceans, and more. Apparently, Asian Carp love corn; they are attracted to it, which means that you can use corn as bait to catch Asian Carp. In the great lakes, Asian Carp will eat mussels, aquatic plants and animals as well.

There’s quire a bit that they can eat. Asian Carp eat other fish, small mammals, salmon, fish eggs, bread, oats, eggs, cheese, oil, molasses. Most of these foods are used as bait to catch Asian Carp. You can say that Asian Carp are omnivorous in natures because they can eat meat as well as plants and vegetation. Asian Carp also love to eat worms, which is often used as bait to catch them; you could say that worms are one of their favorite things to eat.
