During the dry season, they prefer to eat tree browse and sedges more while in the wet season, they eat forbs and grass. Baby elephants can eat lettuce, cabbage, bananas, pumpkins, sugarcane, apples, and oranges. Baby elephants can even eat banana and carrot cake. Baby elephants can eat chocolate and like its taste. Baby elephants may eat people sometimes. Baby elephants can also eat their mother’s feces. Elephants living in zoos can also eat hay and pellets.
What baby elephants do not eat?
Baby elephants do not like the smell of lemons, nor do they eat them. Also, Baby elephants don’t eat peanuts.
Some elephants can also eat meat ( kangaroo is their favorite), but baby elephants do not eat meat.
