Baby lizards can certainly eat grass, however, it’s not common. Also, it should be the main thing that they eat either. Insects are a part of the diet of what baby lizards eat on a daily basis. Baby lizards eat ants, aphids, grasshoppers, slugs, snails, fish, dead flies, dead ants, beetles, flies, crickets, mealworms, and moths. It is also possible for baby lizards to eat spiders, caterpillars, cicadas, wasps, earthworms, wax worms, pill bugs, monarch butterflies, bees, and more.

Fruits

Fruits are sometimes eaten baby lizards. In fact, baby lizards eat fruits like apples, bananas, mango, peaches, berries, strawberries, raspberries, grapes, pineapples, watermelon, and more. Baby lizards can get vitamins and nutrients from the fruits that they eat. Even though they don’t eat a lot of fruits, it is seen in their diets every now and then.

Vegetables

It’s ok for baby lizards to eat vegetables when they are hungry. Baby lizards eat lettuce, tomatoes, carrots, green beans, kale, spinach. It’s healthy for baby lizards to eat different kinds of vegetables in their natural habits.

Meat is also an important part of the diet of baby lizards; they like to have a little bit of everything. Also, omnivores, they will not give up an opportunity to eat meat. Wherever they can find meat, they will eat it and enjoy as well. This is why it’s very common for baby lizards to be seen eating various insects and small animals as well.

Plants

Baby lizards can eat plants; they will eat the plants that they come across; this is more likely to happen then they are very hungry. Even though they prefer animals and insects, baby lizards will definitely eat plants. After all, they are omnivores that eat plants and meat.

Baby lizards are omnivores that love to eat meat, fruits, vegetables, and plants. Baby lizards enjoy eating insects that they come in contact with. You shouldn’t give baby lizards bread to eat because it won’t benefit them nutritionally.
