There are about 2400 species of mantises around the world. Baby mantises can live in different habitats. Mostly they are present in tropical and subtropical latitudes and in warmer areas. They can be found in deserts, grasslands, and tropical rainforests.

In the wild, baby mantis can eat every insect which they can kill. Baby mantis mostly eats aphids and flies in the wild. Baby mantis also eats worms like mealworms because they are small in size and baby mantis can easily grab and kill them. Baby mantis can live for 2 weeks without eating anything.
What baby mantis don’t eat
Baby mantis doesn’t eat plants and vegetables. They don’t like to drink nectar from flowers like other bugs. Some baby mantis can eat meat but mostly don’t eat meat. Baby mantises don’t eat other mantises. Baby mantises don’t eat ants because ants prey on small nymphs.
