Do aardvarks eat ants?

Their long, pointed noses and keen sense of smell allow them to pick up small insects such as ants and termites, which they then lick off of their tongues, which resemble those of an anteater. Most of the aardvark’s food consists of these insects, but they will occasionally consume beetle larvae as a special treat.
