Why Is My Friend Ghosting Me?
Ethan Hayes
Some people don’t like confrontations or arguments, so they will do whatever they can to avoid it. In this case, your friend could be doing the same thing which is why they are ghosting you. You’re probably trying to make conversations or reach out to them to hang out, but they keep pushing you away and ignoring you.
Silky Terrier Dog Breed Playing Aro... Silky Terrier Dog Breed Playing AroundLet’s face it, no one wants to be ghosted at all. It’s the worst thing when you’re texting or calling someone and they barely respond to you. Your friend might be taking days to respond to you and you don’t know why this is happening. Sadly, this is what people do when they’re ghosting you.
Being ghosted by your friend is also a sign that there is a problem in the friendship that needs to be fixed. People can’t always leave things unsaid or not addressed. You can’t just cover things under the rug and expect them to be resolved.
That’s not the way life works. We can mask the problem all we want but it’s not going to go away unless we address it. There has to be a reason why your friend is ghosting you and is barely making time for you. I’m sure that there are many logical conclusions that one could draw from this.
You also can’t rule out the fact that your friend could be fake towards you and you might not even know it. If someone is really your friend, they’re not going to ghost you or avoid you like that. People do these things when they are intentionally trying to avoid you or no longer want to talk to you. However, they won’t always tell you to your face, instead, they just ignore you and slowly push you out of their lives.
Lastly, you should know that you can’t make someone be your friend or want to talk to you. If that person that you once called your friend is treating you this way, then it’s probably best to just cut ties and move on with your life. You’ll make new friends!
