Can A Church Function Without A Pastor?
Caleb Butler
Not sure if a church can function without a pastor? Well, churches are known to have a pastor that is in charge, so it would be very weird to go to a church that doesn’t have a pastor. That is usually not the norm. However, I’ll go over this some more in this article.

Pastors are supposed to be shepherds of the church. Pastors are called to lead the flock. So, this is an important role in the church. In fact, a pastor is essentially the highest office that you can have in a church. As you can see, it is definitely crucial to the success, growth, and development of a church.
The Word
The word of God is important for people to learn and understand. It is the Pastor’s job to deliver the sermons to the churches on a regular basis. This requires knowledge, understanding, experience, and also being called by God to do this kind of work. As we all should know, the word is the most important part of the service. So, without a pastor to teach and speak, then a church can’t function at all or in the way that it supposed to.
Leadership
Being a pastor is also about leadership. Pastors have to lead the members in the church as well as provide them with guidance and support with the various issues and problems that they face in their lives. It’s also not easy being a pastor because there’s a lot that one has to do and deal with as well
Conclusions
To wrap things up, a church cannot function without a pastor. Someone has to lead the church in the right direction as well as provide them with sound doctrine. This is what pastors are supposed to do.
