Can Bleach Kill Fire Ants?

Writer Rachel Davis

If you have linoleum or wood floors, you can use the bleach cleaner inside. Spray the bleach on any fire ants you see and around areas where you’ve previously seen the ants. An ant’s death is instantaneous when bleach comes into contact with it, but you must mop up the bleach immediately to avoid damaging your flooring.
