Moderate cheese consumption is okay for parakeets. The parakeets should eat low-fat cheese because most dairy products are not safe for them. However, it should only be a treat for your parakeet, not a mainstay of its diet.

Although parrots can eat a small amount of cheese, they shouldn’t eat a lot of it. Despite the fact that it isn’t poisonous to birds, cheese isn’t exactly good for them either. Cheese can cause stomach pain and other digestive problems in parrots who eat too much of it.
