Do not give your dog any Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwiches that you’ve made yourself. Surely you can share a piece of your peanut butter and jelly sandwich with your pet. That’s a safe bet to say “no.” The peanut butter will not harm your friend as long as you have made sure there is no xylitol in it.

Yes. As long as you keep the portion size to no more than 10% of their daily calorie intake, dogs can enjoy a bite of your peanut butter and jelly sandwich with no risk to themselves or your waistline. Xylitol-sweetened peanut butter should be avoided at all costs.
Can dogs eat jelly?
Dogs aren’t poisoned by jelly or jam in and of itself. Just like with strawberry yoghurt, the jelly and jam that follow the pureed cooked fruit can pose a hazard to dogs because of the added sugar. In some brands of jelly and jam, xylitol is used as a sugar substitute. Dogs are poisoned by it.

How much grape jelly can hurt a dog?
The toxic dose for grapes is 32 grams per kilogram of the dog’s weight, while the toxic dose for raisins is between 11-30 grams per kilogram of the dog’s weight. Dogs should not be exposed to any grape-based products at all.
