Rice, whether cooked or uncooked, does not harm wild birds in any way whatsoever. The rumor goes that if the bird eats uncooked rice, its stomach swells and bursts. It’s just not true at all! Rice can’t be “cooked” in a bird’s stomach because it’s not hot enough.
