Can I Use Coleman Fuel In My Msr Stove?

Any white gas stove should work with Coleman fuel, but not all brands are the same. MSR’s SuperFuel white gas is a proprietary blend only available from MSR. Most white gas on the market is not as refined and clean as this one.

Can MSR stove use Coleman propane?

As long as it’s an EN 417-certified canister with an isobutane/propane blend of 80%/20%, the answer is yes.

Does Coleman butane work with MSR?

A common standard includes MSR, Primus, GasOne, and Snowpeak isobutane/propane fuel canisters. A butane/propane mix, such as Coleman, can also be used in place of gasoline. If the canister is compatible, it will work.

What fuel is compatible with MSR Pocket Rocket?

In the United States and abroad, fuel for the PocketRocket 2 is readily available (I’ve had to discard many a fuel can at the airport because you can’t fly with them). Self-sealing and screw-on canisters of isobutane-propane fuel are used to power the stove.

Are fuel canisters interchangeable?

Physically, the canister is identical, but the gas blend and labeling may differ. The 7/16 UNEF standard thread allowed canisters from different manufacturers to be interchanged in the past, when there were more of them. Now, they are identical in every way, shape, and form.

Is jetboil fuel the same as MSR?

Can you use propane with an isobutane stove?

In a butane stove, can you use propane? Yes, it is possible to do this. With a camp stove adapter, you can use a 1lb propane canister with your Lindal valve-based butane or isobutane burner.
