It is possible for a snake to grow back its tail. Snakes and other reptiles, such as skinks and lizards, have tails that can grow back.

Can snake regrow tail?

Chelonians, crocodiles, and snakes are all reptiles that cannot regrow lost parts. However, a large number of lizards, geckos, and iguanas (but not all) have a high degree of regeneration capacity. Typically, it involves regenerating a section of their tail by dropping it.
