Maggots were found crawling in the rotting wounds of an elderly woman who was allegedly neglected by her daughter and sole caregiver, a court has heard. A doctor and paramedics found the 82-year-old woman in a dank, dark room in November of 2011.

Can things fuse to your skin?

The intensity of a fire that causes second- or third-degree burns can cause the synthetic fabrics to melt and fuse with the burned skin of people wearing them. However, the word “fuse” may mislead: your skin will not liquefy with your clothing as you might expect.

Can you stain a couch a different color?

If you want to change the color of your couch, this is a good option to keep in mind. There is a limit to what colors you can use with dyes because they only darken the fabric. It’s possible to change the color of an orange couch to red or brown, but not purple.

Does sleeping on the couch ruin it?

Although you may wake up with a crick in your neck after a night on the couch, it’s unlikely to have a long-term negative impact on your health. Sleeping on your sofa nightly raises your risk of developing chronic back and neck pain, among other ailments.

Can a heavy person ruin a couch?

In a nutshell, the answer is yes. This should not be a problem. Because of my weight, I would (and have) offered to pay for any damages caused by my sitting on someone else’s furniture. It’s a good idea to let your obese relatives or friends know that if they damage your belongings, you’ll cover the cost of repairs or replacements.
