It takes about the same amount of time to cook a pie for the sawdust to start igniting. It’s as simple as throwing a handful of sawdust into the oven when it’s hot enough to cook a pie. The old sawdust trick is a ruse only. There is a lot of wasted energy in a small amount of sawdust.
