Can you warm up soda in the microwave?

Even though it’s probably a dumb idea, never put aluminum or any other metal in a microwave. Soda can be safely reheated in the microwave as a liquid. However, soda wouldn’t last much longer. A small amount of water and bubbles would be lost in the process.

What happens when you heat up soda?

Soft drinks lose carbonation more quickly if heated up than if kept cold. Cold water makes oxygen gas more soluble.
